Annual Golf Day: ACVM welcomes clients

ACVM directors and customers enjoy a day’s golfing at Archerfield Links

One of Britain’s finest golf venues was host to this year’s annual golf event for Arnold Clark Vehicle Management. The event, which has become a tradition in past years, saw both customers and directors compete for great prizes and enjoy refreshments at the tournament.

The Archerfield Links Golf Club is located not far from Dirleton Castle and is considered to be one of the most picturesque courses in Scotland. The annual golf day brings together not just business partners, but friends, to experience a great day out.

As soon as the tournament started, the day’s surprise was introduced – the former European Tour Order of Merit winner Ronan Rafferty, who took the time to play one hole with each group.

At the end of the golfing day, the first four teams were given prizes and everyone enjoyed refreshments. The winning team consisted of Ronald Clark, David Barrowman, David Haddow and Gerry Moon. Eddie Hawthorne, Arnold Clark Group Managing Director, gave a closing speech and thanked all guests for attending the event.

David Cooper, Arnold Clark Finance Managing Director, commented:

‘The annual golf day has become something of a tradition for us and it’s a great way to catch up with both long-term and new clients. It won’t be an overstatement to say that our relationship spans beyond business as we are all good friends. I would like to thank everyone for their time as I know they are all really busy and I’m already looking forward to next year’s golf day!’

All of the guests were delighted to visit the venue as some of them have never played there before. Luckily the weather was good too. All attendees agreed that the venue certainly lives up to its reputation of being an excellent golf course.

Arnold Clark Vehicle Management directors are already excited to welcome clients for next year’s golf day.
