How to book an appointment with our business expert at the Arnold Clark Innovation Centre

There’s never been a better time for businesses to go electric, and we’re here to help guide you towards a cleaner fleet.

There’s no denying that the future of the automotive industry is electric.

Electric vehicles help to lower your carbon footprint and they can significantly reduce your costs, too.

With a growing range of fully electric and hybrid vehicles to choose from, there’s never been a better time for businesses to go electric.

And the good news is that we’re here to help guide you towards a cleaner fleet.

Switching to an electric car can bring significant tax benefits for businesses and this is set to continue for the next three years.

The UK Government have stated that electric car benefit-in-kind tax will be 2% in 2022 until 2025.

With the sales of new petrol and diesel vehicles set to end by 2030, there are many reasons to make the switch including; zero emissions, generous government grants, free road tax, low BIK tax and less maintenance.

The Arnold Clark Innovation Centre opened last year on Dumbarton Road in Glasgow’s west end with the aim of educating visitors about the benefits of alternatively fuelled vehicles and why they are becoming so important.

Kieran Doherty, UK Head of Business Sales at Arnold Clark Vehicle Management, said: “Some of our clients are already wholeheartedly embracing new technology, while others are keen to start to make the move to alternatively fuelled vehicles (AFVs) but have concerns over costs and practicality.

“We have invested over £5 million into our Innovation Centre which aims to educate customers as well as our own staff about advancing technology.

“We believe education is key to adoption. Following on from COP26, our aim is to assist customers to 'Learn, Charge, Drive' and make the change to AFVs.”
