Arnold Clark Innovation Centre to host event for businesses thinking about switching to electric

Are you looking towards the future and thinking about moving to electric? Join us at our drop-in business event on Tuesday 14th December.

The Arnold Clark Innovation Centre will next month host an event for businesses that are thinking about making the switch to electric vehicles.

Business owners who are looking towards having a cleaner fleet are welcome to join the Arnold Clark Vehicle Management team any time between 9am and 5pm on Tuesday 14th December for tea or coffee at the drop-in event.

Guests will be able to experience the benefits of switching to electric first-hand with interactive vehicle guides, tailored test drives and information on charging.

There are more than 30 vehicles on site available to test-drive, from fully electric, plug-in and self-charging hybrids to electric commercial vehicles.

The Arnold Clark Innovation Centre opened earlier this year on Dumbarton Road in Glasgow’s west end with the aim of educating visitors about the benefits of alternatively fuelled vehicles and why they are becoming so important.

Kieran Doherty, UK Head of Business Sales at Arnold Clark Vehicle Management, said: “Some of our clients are already wholeheartedly embracing new technology, while others are keen to start to make the move to alternatively fuelled vehicles (AFVs) but have concerns over costs and practicality.

“We have invested over £5 million into our Innovation Centre which aims to educate customers as well as our own staff about advancing technology.

“We believe education is key to adoption. Following on from COP26, our aim is to assist customers to 'Learn, Charge, Drive' and make the change to AFVs.

“Our open day on 14th December will give customers the chance to test-drive a range of AFVs from different manufacturers, including the new BMW iX and i4."

To RSVP to the event, visit here. We would like to remind guests to bring their driving licence so they can test-drive on the day.
